Coaching & Advice
Oppidum shares its broad experience also with Executive Boards, Project and Programme Boards & Steering Committees, project managers, line managers, and team members by also offering Coaching and Advice services. We aim to directly add value to an organisation in this way. We either step into running organisations in support of the existing team or by taking over a role within that team. The trick is to get to know the organisation on the job and as soon as possible. To achieve this we apply best practise from the business, project or programme world. Based on that, we first take the most urgent and practical actions to turn around or solve the problem and make the improvement. And then by applying accepted and known approaches, we can make the change quickly and ensure its continuation through improved processes.

During the last few years particularly we have been leading in acknowledging that it is not only the project, line and programme managers that can benefit from our work. It is increasingly clear that the executive directing these persons are also often challenged with problems. Furthermore, we have developed, tried and tested (and proved) a training & coaching programme for team members themselves — because it is oft forgotten that these team members are the people who actually deliver the successful result. We pay special attention to each role, its scope and understanding & skills. By ensuring that change is always followed up through agreed plans of improvement and review as well as process improvement, we engage personally with the client to ensure an improvement working team for the future. |
