Oppidum Training

Training

At Oppidum we only train proven methods, such as PRINCE2 (for managing projects) and MSP (for the optimal steering of programmes), PPS for top management and executives sponsoring programmes and projects, and IPMA (for project manager's certification standards).  We also frequently give other training courses in Risk Management, Contract Management, Vendor Management, and Change Management (the latter particularly customised for management teams).

Nonetheless, we are also active in many different professional workgroups to develop or investigate new methods as they come to market.

In this way we can be sure to have had long experience with a method before we select it for training, get operational experience and certified in it ourselves as users get ATO ("Authorised to Train") accreditation with our own training material and start delivering training courses.

We will gladly share our experiences with you.  Everything follows our motto of "do what we train; train what we do".

In these ways Oppidum is able to differentiate itself from the many other training organisations.  Participants are trained by our own (not out-sourced) experienced professionals who are using these methods every day, with the support of Oppidum as an accredited organisation busy with method development.

All of our courses end with the taking of an internationally accredited exam.  This  ensures that our quality of training is measured virtually every week by independent examiners.

Please email us for course registration or any questions.  We will be happy to help.

Certified to Train

Oppidum is an accredited "ATO" for a number of methods, including : PRINCE2, MSP, & IPMA.  In each of these, Oppidum is independently permitted to schedule, host and invigilate exams (or be the examiners) for these "Office of Government Commerce" (OGC) certifications.
