Alistair Cranmer, Managing Partner
Having moved to the Netherlands from England in 1996, after completing 10 years of a career in the Royal Navy as a Helicopter Pilot, he had already enjoyed a scholarship to read Law, Management & Psychology at the University of Liverpool in 1987, as well as staff roles in the top echelons of the Royal Navy in between operational tasks in conflict zones abroad. Over the last 14 years he has led change and operations in challenging international and national organisations, as a director, interim manager and consultant, in non-profit, semi-government and global businesses. He joined Oppidum in 2004.
Present Activities
In the training field, Alistair leads the MSP Training, as one of the very few Dutch trainers who are also active as Programme Managers. He is involved as reviewer of MSP refresh 2010. And earlier in 2010 he was the Head Editor of the new Dutch translation for the PRINCE2 Manual. He was recently accredited as the first Dutch Management of Value (MoV) trainer, and is one of the first Management of Portfolios (MoP) Trainers.
